Well howdy subscriber. This one is just for you. :-)
I have been wondering what exactly all this blogging is really doing for us all.
Is it just a lawsuit/future albatross around our neck waiting to happen. Pardon the mixed metaphors but are we so lazy as to be unwilling to write each other emails and have to blog our thoughts? Is information sharing via blog just an “I refuse to take responsibility for my own opinion” approach to journalism? Didn’t we use to call that gossip? Is a blog just the page 3 tabloid version of our opinion?

I guess it’s the approach that if I am not writing this directly to someone then I will feel a little freer with my expression. Like a diary that everyone secretly reads. Maybe our voyeristic nature make blogs so popular.
I leave you with this thought.
I like to blog. ;-) )

Now there’s an idea

10:56 am December 21st, 2006

A delightful you lady suggested that I could cut down on my email mania but using a blog. Its seems like a good idea but how do I screen my sanity from those I am still trying to kid that I am not a raving looney.
The solution is, of course, obvious! Stop living the double life and accept my “sanity choices” and be a calmer, more at peace, individual. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Anyway, this is the restart of my blogging. It seems my earlier posts have gone bye byes. Perhaps that is best. ;-)
I will log my fave links and maybe some pics I can post from work here. I will investigate the image loading options. I think this might have been why I opted for another blog site last time. Oopsy, did I say that.
Speak soon.

Anti scalping attempts foiled for Big Day Out

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/A/AUSTRALIA_SCALPER_VICTORY?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

I heard on the news that the cops said they had better things to do than police scalpers.I guess they mean like the huge number of jaywalking fines they distributed in the valley a couple of months ago and the intention to “heavily” police littering also in the valley. :-)
I feel safer already.

Sparkle’s Speed and Food poisoning diet

12:26 pm January 4th, 2007

After discussions with several people and checking out the latest trashy women’s magazines I will be shortly launching my own diet. Sparkle’s Speed and Food Poisoning Diet will have all the things you love and get you in fabulous shape for your summer in the sun.
Whilst the liberal application of speed will assist with your reduction in appetite the food poisoning will tone those tummy muscles.
As the trashy women’s mags take great care to point out, several of our fave celebs are using speed to keep down their fat content and maintain that gaunt look so popular amongst the stars of today. Whilst this approach is far from new as those who have ever experienced the medislims of the old days will know. Speed reduces your appetite whlst also burning calories. It is a win win situation. Also great for pulling all nighters for exams and that report that must be in tomorrow.
I, however have added the exercise component which will turn your hamper into a washboard. The food poisoning component allows you to eat as much as you like of whatever you like so long as you follow it by some bacteria infested dessert. The joys of this method are many fold. Firstly, you get to eat all you like and you get to eat whatever you like. “How?” you say? Well quite simply, you won’t be digesting it so it won’t pack on the pounds. “Awesome!” you say? Damn straight. But it gets better. Since you will be eating return trip food there is no need for you to put the food away from flies or in the fridge. Save on electricity costs and do less work around the house. Suweeeet!
But wait, it gets even better. OK, next, due to the two way traffic of the food, I suggest soft foods. :-)
Now the biggest win of all. When the food poisoning sets in and you start returning your luggage the constant dry retching will give your abs a fantastic workout. You will have a tummy to die for in no time.
And here is the final glory of this diet. If you really want to tone up that tummy fast and burn calories, you eat more!!!!
Eat you way to rock hard abs people. ;-) )
